Engineers Day

Look at today's paradox... A medical student after studying at large become doctor, law student normally a lawyer, Chartered accountant is having profession as same, and so is the case with othe professionals... But Engineers in most of the cases, do MBA and technically opt for a sales, marketing, higher mgmt, management consultant and what not but they detatch themselves from Engineering... Still what the world is now, what we see as a symbol of development in any sphere is just because of Engineers and if u ask anyone, what would you say about them... Then there doesn't seem to be any accurate formal word of praise for them... Ask about Doctors, "they are life savers" ask about teachers, "they show us the right path", ask about the lawyer, they help in bringing justice... Fine... But ask about engineers... Silence! This is unfair... Instead of celebrating Happy Birthday of Vishveshvaraiya as Engineers Day, a true respect to them will be to acknowledge and appreciate their contribution to this world...

Comparison of Different Methods for H2S Removal from Raw Biogas

Comparison of Water Scrubbing , Bio-scrubbing , Ferrosorp , Chemical Scrubbing , and Iron Wool for H₂S removal from raw biogas : 1. Principle Parameter Water Scrubbing Bio-scrubbing Ferrosorp Chemical Scrubbing Iron Wool Mechanism Physical absorption of H₂S in water Biological oxidation of H₂S to elemental sulphur Adsorption of H₂S on iron oxide-based media Chemical reaction with scrubbing solution Reaction of H₂S with iron to form FeS 2. Efficiency Parameter Water Scrubbing Bio-scrubbing Ferrosorp Chemical Scrubbing Iron Wool H₂S Removal Efficiency 90-99% (depends on water solubility and pressure) 95-99% (depends on bacterial activity) 90-99% (depends on sorbent capacity) 99 5-99 9% (very high for low ...

Comparative Study: Guide to use which Molecular Sieve for CO2 removal

Here’s a comparative study of different types of molecular sieves used for CO₂ removal from raw biogas for Compressed Biogas (CBG) production. Selecting the right molecular sieve depends on the biogas composition, desired methane purity, and the operational constraints of the upgrading system.   Key Types of Molecular Sieves   Type Pore Size Primary Application Advantages Limitations 3A Molecular Sieve 3 Å Water removal (dehydration). Excellent for removing water vapour before CO₂ removal. Ineffective for CO₂ adsorption due to smaller pore size. 4A Molecular Sieve 4 Å CO₂ and water removal in dry biogas streams. Selective adsorption of CO₂ and water. Not suitable for biogas with high H₂S or other impurities. 5A Molecular Sieve 5 Å CO₂ removal and separation of hydrocarbons. ...

Nature...

Nature is a place where magic happens, Gives beautiful message even when it darkens... Night glows with moon and so many stars, While days bloom with colourful flowers... Wind blows and let leaves talk, Smell of freshness comes from bark... Sparrows chirp as squirrel squeaks, Woodpecker is busy with its beaks... Sky is so blue and I don't have clue, Why we were kept so away from its hue... Challenge is not to fight a disease, Its basically how to live with at ease... We ignored the nature and never try, Only to make such hue and cry... Let's love and live with as it's serene, Let's not make the nature obscene...
